Carol Ann (Hutchings) Botimer, succumbed to pancreatic cancer after a brave fight on March 6, 2022, at home with her three daughters and close family by her side. She was the beloved wife of the late Don Botimer. Carol was the cherished grandmother of six grandchildren and one great grandson. She and Don married in 1964. Carol was a preschool teacher at Gurnee Community Church. She retired in 2001. Carol and Don moved to Lake Havasu City, Arizona in 2002. Every summer they traveled back to Illinois in their 5th wheel camper to escape the sweltering Arizona heat. One of the things that gave Carol the most joy was spending time with her children and grandchildren, with whom she was very close. Carol had the biggest heart and an avid love for Elvis Presley, Old Country music and the Chicago Cubs. May she rest in peace.
